TYPESET IN THE FUTURE

Converting a popular web blog into a printed book is more difficult than you might think. Even the most self-conscious bloggers need not concern themselves with the length of the text or number of images, whereas book designers must tackle the page and spread as limitations to fill and organize, and chapter divisions to accommodate. Fortunately, I was blessed with an author and editor who understand this challenge and excel at editing and reconfiguration. The design maintains the meandering delight of the original blog and allows for generous sidebars filled with unexpected information. A design nerd’s pleasure palace!
