Flower Power, one of 1967’s era-defining phrases, became the premise for the Asian Art Museum’s jump into San Francisco’s 50th-anniversary celebration of the Summer of Love. Featuring selections from the museum’s collection, the exhibition crosses eras and mediums to provide a glimpse of how flowers have acquired meaning and deliver messages in the decorative and fine arts.
