AFTER THIRTY YEARS AWAY my return to Cranbrook Academy of Art as a Photography MFA student begins here. After arriving on campus I covered one of my studio walls with homasote board. During the next few months I covered these walls with hundreds of 4 x 6 machine prints, all held together with push pins. This strategy was already familiar to me, and this work, which remained installed until May 2023, became the starting point for my explorations during my first year of study.
