Delta Dental commissioned a second major installation (the first, Delta Hex, was completed in 2019), this time stretching over three floors in their San Francisco headquarters. The office space already housed an impressive moss-covered growing wall and my work would be installed nearby. I used the neighboring moss as inspiration for “The New Machinery in the New Garden,” a fanciful exploration of technology and nature coexisting optimistically. Collaged together from thousands of individual photo prints, these panels form a three-story narrative along the office’s central staircase.
