Oliver Stone provided us with so much material for this book that even nearly 500 pages could barely contain the highlights. As much as Wes Anderson is shy and private, Stone is gregarious and an over-discloser. That makes this book rich in anecdote, detail, and opinion. Stones films are full of politics and controversies, much of which is presented in collages of artifacts and clippings. Like Stone’s personal life, the design moves in and out of organization and chaos.
